bogus market update notification

ok. i have had the moto RAZR for about a month now..... or however long its been out.... anyway, the past few weeks ive been getting the icon for marketplace updates...... and it ALWAYS says there is 2 apps to update... but when i go into it, there are now updates on any of my apps... its getting rather annoying... was wondering if anyone else has had this issue on this or any other device....or if anyone knows how to fix it.... i have auto updates off, i turned them off since it kept doing this, so i could see that it really was a bogus notification

If you have hidden any apps because you don`t want to see them it will still notify you.

I see this sometimes too. I will get the update notification, and it will list the app(s) that has updates. However, when going into the app, it doenst show as available. I have noticed that that is seems as though the notification comes out "early", and that withing the hour the update is available for the app.

I assumed this was a marketplace bug.

I had this problem and found out that it was the facebook and twitter aps that needed updating. I could not delete them so I said OK on the update and no longer have the problem.
