My upgrade isn't until December, so I'll just wait maybe by then a new nexus will be out with jellybean. My thunderbolt is still running great so o don't have the urge to rush.

I've never had a problem upgrading before my "scheduled" upgrade was up with Verizon, but count me as one of those that is completely content with the TBolt for now.

I'm very interested to see some of the new ICS models this spring, and we'll see if any can tempt me.

Right now, I figure I have a great phone that runs fast (at least for what I do), has a huge development community that has put out some great ROMs and kernels to really get the most out of it, and I'm still not sure that there are any other devices on Verizon that can do simultaneous voice and data.

Not yet for me, until Feb '13. I'm not sure what I would do if I had the option now. There seems to be a lot of options out there but none of them perfect.

The Rezound will do simultaneous voice and data. Not to mention the 1.5 GHz dual-core and best display currently available

I am not up for an upgrade. But if I was, it would have to be AS GOOD as my Thunderbolt. I am not seeing anything that catches my attention if I were able to upgrade. I waited patiently to get the Thunderbolt and got an early upgrade. I picked the right phone for me.........and still am happy with it.

I became eligible for an upgrade in December. I decided to wait until the end of 2012 to upgrade. When I saw deep discounts on thunderbolt accessories I got a new case, extra extended battery, and battery charger for about $30. Now I am good to go for the next few months.

I want a HTC with dual/quad core, at least a 4.3inch screen, and kickstand.

Give me that and I'm cashing in my upgrade. Nothing on vzw now is worth a 2 year commitment if I already have a great phone (thunderbolt)

I'm holding out to see what HTC comes out with since I like Sense better than any of the alternatives. I'm hoping they follow Motorola's lead and come out with something with a 3000mAh or greater battery.

If I could sign another one year contact,I would go with the rezound. Now I sorta wish I had just gone with the two year contract. Thunderbolt has lived up to the hype and much more. Sgs 3 might interest me, or the HTC edge or other quad core HTC phone.

I got mine on April 16th and I am eligible for an early upgrade on December 12th. I am patiently waiting for the next big thing to come down the line....we will start hearing rumors around August/September I bet.

Rezound with a case with kickstand is your answer. I much prefer the kickstand in the case. Of course, if you must go bareback, then that is another issue.

What will I get when my upgrade matures in 10 months? A quad core with a 3 day battery life and a screen that would make zeus cry.

I waiting for the Nexus 4 but it depends it will be made by Samsung or HTC again. Hopefully HTC might get it again if they can show this year a refreshing new look to their product. Furthermore coming out with first quad-core phone won't cut it if they are easily passed by Samsung in next couple of months.

Motorola is still in picture if account what Eric Schmidt said later last year when they acquired Motorola. Though Motorola has yet in my opinion show anything greatly substantial. However the year has only just started and the next six months should tell us more.

P.S I would be very weary of a Motorola Nexus just because of preference in design. If the nexus 4 doesn't appeal I have no problem getting year old GN if all the updates by then have fixed it minor issues.

Not sure if this was mentioned yet but I'm not buying another phone until at least the end of this year (when my contract allows me). In the meantime, very happy with the bolt-day 1 purchaser. Can this option be created?

Looking forward to see what new devices HTC will put out. I'm also interested to see what kind of battery life users that have the Razr Maxx are getting.

Got the TBolt on Day 1.

Went with a 1 year contract so I'm cleared for a new phone.

TBolt worked 100% perfect until the last OTA, then it had little glitches. Nothing big, just more glitchy. I can live with it. Plus I still have the free Mobile Hotspot from the original promo for some reason

MY ANSWER: Honestly, knowing cameras, and having a new baby I'm taking TONS more photos on the fly these days, the Sony Exmor R sensor in the Xperia line of phones is intriguing. If Verizon comes up with a phone, be it Sony or HTC or whatever with a camera that good, on LTE with ICS - I'm in!

For right now, I bought my mom a Rezound for Christmas so strangely I'm fine living vicariously through her :)

I am waiting for the HTC Edge should be one the Hottest/Best phones of 2012 if hits with the expected spec's and will be a great buy and should stay top of the line for little while as the Tbolt did. I think thats where the next big leap in phones is. The ones out now and coming before that just not enough for me to switch
