I just mms'd myself and I have no issues.
Hmm I flashed rEVOlution Mix theme, would that be the culprit?

Strange, guess i'll charge back up and reflash... I have a feeling its going to be a great rom. I just have to figure out my battery situation. I can't get it to hold a charge, I'm gonna try to charge 100% once i'm on Bonsai Beta then wipe battery stats. Also once the official Bonsai is released will we be able to just flash an update or will we have to wipe completely?
I'm not seeing those battery issues.
The official release will definitely not need a wipe and it will likely be the same as the beta 30 release, but with the b35 kernel.
OHHH thats awesome! I'm definitely cool with flashing it now lol. I was just hoping I wouldn't have to wipe/flash everything all over again! Sweetness. Well thanks! Hopefully i'll be able to figure out my battery issue.
I can't really see them having to change anything with the official release other than adding in the b35 kernel. I saw there are a few people having a couple flashing issues but otherwise I really believe they got it together, I'm actually excited for this as its been the most stable EC05 ROM I've ran to date.
Yes you could flash another kernel but honestly I haven't found any reason to do so, I'm over 2 days running and all is good.I just flashed this about a half an hour ago and so far everything is running perfectly. Is it ok to flash in a different kernel like twilight? Or is there even any reason to? The kernel that came in the ROM seems very snappy and I don't have any complaints, I was just curious to tinker around a little bit.

I'm still on 4.0.1 but will probably upgrade in the next week or so based on early reviews of the beta... as far as the ROM I'm on, does anyone one if it is agnostic as to whether journaling is on or off? I'd like to try to turn journaling back on using that new simple flash method posted in the past 24 hours in this forum... but not if turning it back on might bork 4.0.1... anyone happen to know? Thx

Hey you snuck up on me Paul.
Question for you, when you flashed another rom the other day, did cwm3.0.2.8 revert back to 3.0.0.6 after the flash or did it stay 3.0.2.8?
Oh ya, sorry I didn't report back on that... I was wrong, hehe.. I figured I opened my mouth and would be inserting my foot..
Once this new CWM 3.0.2.8 is installed on your phone flashing another ROM (CWM 3.0.0.6) will not replace it.. I flashed ACE and when I went back into CWM it was still CWM 3.0.2.8.
Basically Randy/Mammon installed a new CWM recovery into our devices and its fresh code that isn't in place in our installation script on any of the other ROMs.
I would think running OneClickRoot EXT4 would probably revert it back to the old CWM 3.0.0.6, not positive but I think it would. Really, I'm not worried because the new CWM is functioning fine and I have a feeling it will be used as the new CWM in the next round of new ROMs once Randy and Mammon go public with it.
You snuck up on me GEE. I was thanking Paul and after I posted I saw you had replied to so I had to go back and a thanks to you too![]()
Paul would you reccomend flashing the beta now, or waiting until the official release? From the things i'm hearing already regarding this newest Bonsai release I'm very interested in flashing it...
Correct, if your happy with 4.0.1 then I would stay put. Not that anything is wrong with the beta but you might as well hold tight for a few more. The way its running I really can't see any reasons why it shouldn't go public real soon. Mammon and Randy did a great job and this really should be the final run on Froyo/EC05 heading into official Gingerbread if things work out.Sounds tempting, huh?!
I know how you feel. I'm just reading the posts that make me do it but I'm thinking I should wait a while for more reports. I just love this rom and have been with it since the beginning of my Epic era. Right now it's working fine on 4.0.1 and I'm thinking "if it's not broke, don't fix it".
So I'll suggest to wait for more reports (and why not, for a free version?)![]()
