Donation but if you don't donate you can't have it.So they are selling it then...
Keep in mind the donation is for early access. Otherwise once it goes into full release its available for all for free. The way this beta is running I don't see any reason why it shouldn't go public at any time.

Paul would you reccomend flashing the beta now, or waiting until the official release? From the things i'm hearing already regarding this newest Bonsai release I'm very interested in flashing it...

Its very good.. I haven't had a single issue for the 30+ hrs I've been running it now. Not to mention running no journaling with no problems :D

Good to hear! Although i'm not greatly educated on no journaling I will probably run journaling enabled. Is the beta no journaling?

Yes the beta is no journaling but they offer a zip you can flash to enable journaling. You flash the zip to enable journaling before hand then flash the ROM.

Also this was just released today... I've tried it and its works, best darn little flashable tool to date in my opinion.

So is it just me or is the Beta release not available? When I go to the "Early Access" page nothing is there...

EDIT: Nevermind, I guess it had to process my donation... lol.

So how will flashing current .zips in the new clockwork go? I see Paul said he hasn't had any issues with it so far but just wondering.

I guess there has been a few but they are isolated, for the majority of flashables out there they should be fine. If you do find one that won't flash send it my way and I'll see what I can do.

FYI, the new CWM 3.0.2.8 also has a new feature...

When making a NanDroid backup it now does a backup of the kernel (boot image) and recovery. Randy wasn't sure if it was working properly yet and said the file sizes during a backup and restore were matching up correctly but that was it. So I decided to give it a test run, I flashed ACE ROM and Vision kernel to test things out and then restored my backup of Bonsai beta/B35 kernel and it works!

So that is a welcome addition to CWM now, complete 100% system backup... System/Data/Cache/Boot Image (kernel) and recovery.

43% battery left, not bad at all!!

Question what is the new lock screen I hear about and is there a zip we can flash?

Thanks Paul, I was just over at the bonsai site and I seen your posts about the kernel restore and Randys confirmation of it. That is really awesome news, I can finally swap all the kernels I want and when all else fails I can just nandroid back and be on my way. No more reflashing 10 different things just to get my setup back.....great news man and thanks again.:D

Have you guys had any issues with MMS? I got a pic text but I can't open the picture...
