Bookmarks with chrome

It seems I can no longer open a bookmark in a new tab. Some update changed things. If I hold on a bookmark it gets highlighted with options. Any help here. Also I get audio with typing. Something to do with alarms I guess. All bad update for me. Hope for help here but I just downloaded Firefox......in case.

If anyone is interested. To restore opening bookmark in a new tab.
In address bar type
chrome://flags/#enhanced-boomarks-experiment
enter.
Disable and restart chrome. Found in Google discussions.
