Books on cd

Is there a good way to take a book on CDs and put it onto your phone so you can listen to it? Something that will remember where you were when you come back to listen at a later time.

You would obviously have to rip the CD to convert to MP3 or have an MP3 to start with. I think the best audiobook player is Listen.
