It's just the standard Android stock browser that comes with most phones. The phone comes with Android 4.0 ICS.

What is the stock browser for Boost Mobile HTC evo4g design? I ask because it has issues viewing websites that I develop. The sites work fine on all other phones.

That's why I need to know the specific type and version of browser the phone comes with?

Anybody know the specifications on the browser?

He already answered your question bro lol. Its plain ole stock u can get from the play store. If u having trouble wit that one use the 100 other browsers

Thanks but plain old stock doesn't help a developer or programmer. If people walk around with this phone that means that the web site can not be displayed by thousands of users not smart enough to change a browser because one website doesn't display correctly.

Plain old stock browser = what type and version. (They should have a name)

Anybody else have any input on browser type that can solve this problem?

Its common knowledge that u can change the browser?? Plus odds are its probably a phone issue specific to your phone.

It literally has no name. It is just the stock Android browser. You're going to have to be more specific about the "specifications" you're looking for.

I disabled the stock browser and downloaded Puffin & Opera on my Evo Design.

I prefer Puffin because it views websites in desktop mode, not mobile view.
