Boost Mobile Kyocera Hydro stuck in a boot loop after changing fonts

Hi I just got a Kyocera Hydro and I rooted it and i installed rom toolbox lite by jrummy. After I did that, iI changed the boot animation and the fonts and it told me to reboot the phone, and I did. Then thats when it whent all downhill. It would show the hydro screen, boost mobile logo, then a black screen with the backlight keys on, then it wiuld turn off and it would repeat the whole proccess over and over again until I pull the battery. Ive also tried going into the stock recovery and clearing both the cacheand the whole system but nothing happens. Only the boot animation changed back. I also noticed that it only has 3 options
-reboot system now
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache partition
And at the botton of the screen it says three times
E:Cannot load volume /misc!
What do I do? I need help because I dont know how to flash the stock rom and when i search stock roms on google, it gives me results that are completely unrelated to what im searching(of course!) Thanks in regards or somthing.

Well, for one, flashing incompatible fonts will render your device soft bricked. For two, a lot (not all, I assume) of recoveries say they can't load something. My HTC gave me the same thing when I was stock. I'm guessing it's looking for a custom recovery. Anyways, to help with your problem, a factory reset might have to happen. And if that doesn't work, flashing the stock ROM would have to happen.

I cant do anything because it wont let me flash the stock rom and i did the factory reset so many times and it still does the same proccess.

Then...I got nothing. Return fully back to stock by relocking the bootloader (if it has one) and do everything you can to bring it out of the box.

I have barely heard of this phone. There should be some guides floating around.

How do yoy relock the bootloader and all I have done is clear cache, factory reset, tryed using adb, but of couree, nothing

Rule number one of rooting...
- Always have a custom recovery flashed and a backup made first.

Go onto xda and search for "kyocera hydro update.zip" NOT the stock rom. You won't get good results. However if your recovery doesn't give you a flash option, I don't see how you can flash the update.zip unless your phone supports fastboot.

If it does you could use that method. Check if it does and report back here, I can guide you through the process of flashing it back.

Okay well I checked kyoceras website and it would seem that they don't have the update zips or recovery tools up for download as they are closed source.

It would be hard to get them to release it, but let me see what I can do.

basically recovery wasn't flashed right whenever that was done or didn't compile into the zip file of the build of whatever rom you are using. you can reflash the kernel with heimdall, after unzipping the boot.img from the .zip. to keep twrp & boot you must flash a workable twrp first, then boot img, then while in recovery, install the zip backup boot&recovery && restore recovery & boot. ta da

Its port locked bootloader people...dont mean to affend but just a scroll or two on google or anywhere else would have told you that there is no custome recovery yet because the bootloader is portlocked...you can root but BE CAREFULL MODDING there is no way to save it if ya f**k up!!

The Hydro is a fun and easy phone to root. But its backup recovery sucks. After attempting to change the system font (which i done many times) something went wrong. Selected font could not be installed and the system could not locate its original or backup fonts leaving it stuck in a boot loop. Tried to hard reset phone, factory reset, nothing works. (Note: You do not need to hold the Home Button + Vol/down + Power all together to get into its recovery. Just Vol/down + power for about 10-15seconds, android will show, then let go the buttons.) Anyways, now it just says, E:Cannot load volume /misc! for any action preformed. The device needs the font to help reconize its programming, software and so on. Unless a font can be installed like this, in its proper location. device is trashed. Thats my opinion.

i have a kyocera hydro vibe model number C6725 i can go into system recovery, wipe cashe and factory reset the phone. but it still goes into the boot loop as follows: Android screen w/vibration, black screen with two 1 sec vibrations, pause, vibrate, repeat. what do i do next?
