My phone isnt working!!! It says something about a DO.11 boot loader? Code corrupt, battery OK, OK to program, Connect USB, Data cable. Thats all that is all on a blank black screen! ): I've tried everything I don't know what else there is. I downloaded a picture and it froze so I took out the battery and it hasn't turned on since? Can someone help me please! I have a Droid 2.

Good News: You can recover from this issue!

Bad News: The only way to fix it involves wiping everything on your phone. (Except the MicroSD card)

You need to download an app named RSD Lite. The newest version is 5.6 and there's links to it all over the place in these forums. It's Motorola's in-house flashing tool to force firmware into phones.

You also need an SBF file for your phone. Looks like someone over at XDA has the newest SBF file available.

Download 1FF-p2a_droid2_cdma_droid2-user-2.3.3-4.5.1_57_DR2-31-110719-release-keys-signed-Verizon-US.sbf.gz from Mirrorcreator - Upload files to multiple file sharing sites <-Link to D2 Gingerbread SBF

Once you have RSD Lite and the SBF file, the guide you want is in our very own forums: http://forums.androidcentral.com/droid-2-rooting-roms-hacks/75388-how-sbf-back-stock.html

What would cause my phone to do this? If I took my phone to Verizon would they be able to do that for me? I don't have a computer, would I be possible to use a computer at a library? Thank you so much for your help!!!

Verizon would NOT do this for you. Odds are the people at the store don't even have a clue what RSD Lite is or does.

There could be a million reasons why your phone would do this. None of us will be able to explain it. No computer is perfect. It can break whenever it wants, however it wants.

You likely could NOT use a computer at a library, because those computers are typically extremely locked down so that you could not install software. Find a friend with a computer.

I tried to follow these instructions but the site on how to SBF back to stock takes you to a sight that has been seized by the FBI. Is this illegal? If not is there another site where I can get this information?

Can you please go over this again for me from the beginning. With all the links and everything. I am having a very hard time with this. I will let you know what my situation is again. My DROID2 global froze up on me. I removed the battery, when I put the battery back in I got the message bootloader DO.11 code corrupt battery ok ok to program connect usb, data cable. I am not very good with computers or understanding the language and everything so I need it to be in an easy to understand way. Thank you so much for your time and understanding!

Just follow the instructions carefully in the link I posted and you'll be fine...I promise.

Have you tried to take the battery out and reboot again? If so does it just go straight into the boot loader?

Yes, I tried the battery thing and it just goes back to the bootloader screen. Is the link you provided the how to SBF back to stock at the top of my message?:-\

Check the section at the bottom of the first post of the instruction page where it talks about the code corrupt error too...no problem good luck!!!

What file are you trying to flash?

You need to extract the SBF file out of the zip file...the file you flash with should be named something.sbf not really something but you get what I'm saying lol

What a life saver you are for posting this awsome fix. The Verizon store people are useless, the online tech support for Verizon is useless and you have to pay Motorola if you even want to talk to tech support. I thought my phone was toast but just finished loading the firmware a little bit ago. Everything worked perfect and I'm back in business. Yahooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-$

I did everything right and it ended with rsdlite's status on the phone reading :"failed flashing process. phone [0000]: error switching phone to bp pass through mode (0x70bE); phone disconnected," and my pc giving me a "found new hardware: "QHSUSB_DLOAD" message. I am not able to find a driver for the mysterious new device.

My phone sits unperturbed, still reading "SW Update in progress..." If I try to shut it off, it doesn't respond. And when I battery-pull and put the battery back in, it starts up immediately with a "Bootloader D0.11 Code corrupt..." message.

I cannot make it go into bootloader mode. All it does it what I've told you. plz help me fast friends..............i need immediately help......
sorry for my bad english.......
