boot/root and updates?

I am unlocked and rooted not really interested in roms (yet) but i was wondering will i still receive updates from google and if yes will i lose root and if yes to that can i just reroot without wiping everything Thank You

Yes, you'll get the OTAs
No, usually OTAs don't overwrite root but they COULD.
No, you won't need to wipe anything if you happen to lose root. The process of unlocking the bootloader is what requires the wipe and that won't be needed again.

Word of caution, if you see an OTA popup...come into the forums to make sure it doesn't break root before you choose to install it.

If it DOES break root, and someone hasn't posted a new root method then you'll be running rootless until that happens.

Traditionally, with Nexus devices, there aren't usually problems with OTAs and root but it's always a possibility some might say that with VZW involved that's more likely but I'm not sure I agree with that.
