Bootloader question

Had the phone 2 hours, all my apps are downloaded. I am reading now I should get rid of bootloader. If I do that now will the apps just reinstall themselves again?

When I unlocked my bootloader I got all kinds of install errors when it tried to download all my apps. So I updated to 4.0.2, did a factory reset and everything was normal.

And don't GET RID of the bootloader. You kinda need that, lol
