Was wondering if LG fixed the bootloop problem.Remember this was a problem on the G3,G4.SOME G5S, the V10,V20 and the Nexus 5x. If they didn t i can see it being a sussuful phone.

It's honestly too early to tell. If they didn't make any changes, it should be apparent early on.

No Bootloop on G5. G4 For Sure, but mine never got messed up. G5 is running great and looking forward to the G6 in August /September.

Not really aware of this, did a little searching and it is something to wonder and hope they nipped it in the bud. One article says, in the suit, they blame processor not adequately soldered onto board with G4 and V10 sharing similar design.

Other models not sure... one site mentions a V20 reported was determined to be an incompatible USB-c cable causing it.

Looking at recent tear down videos of the G6, desigj shows how it all fits and how processor now has heat pipe pressed against it with thermal paste And shows how the board, battery and components all fit. I'm not expert on design so everyone has to make their own opinion on if layout looks smart and hope the new model is redesigned to avoid such issue. I did window when removing backpanel doesn't seem like any cable from power button to board if that contact could separate some day?

I guess you can make the same argument used with Samsung to LG... that they are gonna double down on QC and design to make sure not gonna happen again?
