I can confirm that heating my phone with a blow dryer (about 6 inches away from the phone) until the phone shutdown automatically RESOLVED MY boot loop issue (it took almost 10 minutes for the phone to shut off) I cooled it for about 20 minutes on my laptop cooling pad and then I turned it on and it was working again

Did that fix it long term. My phone is stuck in bootload.

I think it unlikely to be a permanent fix. Sounds like the long term fix is to load the modified firmware which disables the high power cores. See the earlier posts for that link. Heating up the phone temporarily disables the high power cores.

I'm thinking about calling Google tonight to see if I can get a pixel replacement. I doubt it but I'm gonna give it a try.

Update: so I tried to get a replacement and almost succeed. I missed up by saying that I replaced the battery. Once I coughed that up they realized I has voided my warranty (even though I was outside of the warranty anyway). Oh well

I'm just gonna try to look for fixes via YouTube. It's gonna take a lot of work but I'm gonna get it back up and running for a backup.

Did you buy the phone from Google or Huawei? If you read this whole thread, you will note I purchased mine from Huawei and had no luck getting a replacement. -_-

Nope. Brought it here from a user on AC. I love my 6p. I got to find a way.
