My thoughts and prayers go out to all those killed, hurt, or otherwise affected by today's tragic terrorist act.
I'm really glad they caught the second one alive. As much as we all want justice served, we all want to know the answer or answers to the all-important question: Why?
Everything mentioned on the news last night makes one wonder why two otherwise athletically and academically normal/outstanding people would do something like this. And, we must not fear because if we start fearing each other or immigrants, then that will be our downfall.
I'm sure pretty much every American is angered by something like this, but finding out why is not an invalid question and serves a couple purposes. For the general public, it helps give closure to the ordeal and perhaps gain more understanding of these kinds of people. The government finding out why can help them learn what warning signs to look for and better investigate future potential terrorists. Then, once we're done with him, I don't care if we throw him to the dogs.
The question should never be "why?" when innocents are maimed and slaughtered by cowards, as if WE did something to deserve this and 9/11. As much as these animals want to hate our government, they can never justify what they do to our innocent/unknowing civilians, including children. Where is our anger, why are people asking "why"? There can NEVER be a good reason to destroy people like this.
The innocent people of the world need to understand why. Not just the good ol' Americans who can do no wrong.

What have the good ol' women and children done wrong?
They haven't done anything wrong but just to say how innocent people of that day deserve more than what they were dealt is wrong. Think about the people of the world who are accidentally targeted by US Drones or raped and killed by American soldiers. Don't you think they deserve more than what they are getting? Do they even deserve that respect? We as a people of this world need to unite and live in peace so this doesn't happen. We can't do that because we live in a world where our bickering governments need to have the most power and that power detroys us
Btw. We the people don't start wars. We live through them and play ignorant parts in them. I am a US Veteran and I hate violence no matter who it comes from.

Someone somewhere (on here, I think) said in part that we cannot come up with solutions if we cannot even agree on what the problems are.
