Brand new Pixel USB-C earbuds

I'm still trying to figure out why cell phones aren't sold/packaged with Bluetooth earpieces. I mean, it's the law so why wouldn't that be more important than headphones? I may be in the minority here, but to me a good Bluetooth is much much more important than something to listen to music with.

I want Google branded Bluetooths to match my Google branded phone.

haha, i agree 100%. I personally never use wire headphones anymore. Hate wire. try walking 2 dogs, and kneeing down to pick up their poops, with wires tangling and the dogs going all over the place. haha.
the google ear buds that bundle with the pixel 3 cost $30 if you want to buy them separately. There are plenty of decent bluetooth headsets that cost around that price. They should bundle a pair, but i doubt they will. probably will raise the price another $50 if it comes with bluetooth headphones.

To add, JBL is releasing a new GA enabled wireless earbud in the near future!
Keep us updated about those - I'd be interested if they have a good fit, decent battery life and a reasonable price. The new Google Pixel Buds ($159; not these Google Pixel USB-C Earbuds) are wired together and I'd rather not have to deal with that.

The sound is really good for budget earphones. Decent amount of bass. Listened to Thunder by Imagine Dragons and the music didn't sound too awful, even compared to my Bose QC35s.

They are quite comfy to wear.

The assistant works well. You set it up in assistant settings and she can read notifications for you when they come in. You can choose which apps to be notified of and can hear the notification by clicking the vol up button.

You can make requests which don't show up on the phone screen.

All in all worth the money if you want to go wired and want the assistant features.

Thanks for sharing

I'm digging them but they won't make me switch back from my Jaybirds. I just can't do wired anyone.

Kind of disappointed that there is no earphone jack and internal DAC/AMP for music. Need to find high quality earbuds with LDAC or APTx-HD.. And not sure they exist today.

Have you tried them with your Pixelbook?

The Google Store page only sez, "Works best on Pixel." It makes no mention of the Pixelbook or Slate.

Anyone having an issue with how loud they are even after lowering the volume all the way down?
