Too much is my guess. $600 was the cheapest/first one I saw, and they're MUCH higher now.

I just bought one from I/O on EBay for $600. This is how I rationalized this purchase:

> Just won my bowling league and have extra cash that was going to be put towards this phone

> Not eligible to upgrade and did not want to extend my contract anyway, so I was already planning to spend $450 on the device

> The phone includes a month of unlimited everything, including 3g/4g tethering ($120 value at least)

> I live in a 4G area and already use my touch pro as my main internet connection at home

Yeah they did. They gave one to each attendee and there were around 5,000 attendees.

While I am happy for those who got them and it doesn't really matter to me since my upgrade eligibility is on June 1st at the earliest this is a bunch of BS to me. Just release the phone if it is ready!

Yea I've seen a few on ebay too, I just wonder what the verdict is on the phones after the 30days is up ! I would assume they let you get it going on sprint or it would just be a waste of a phone.

But x2 on that supply comment, the more the merrier !
