BREAKSCLUSIVE: Other features the Galaxy Nexus doesn't have

Can't make or receive calls unless you are standing under or on top of cell tower if like other Sammies

Has a 5 MP sensor vs. 8 MP sensor like most contemporary (even end of life) devices.

oh wait..this was a gag thread? Lemme go again.

Doesn't have BBM

hilarious no?

It doesn't sanitize objects with its screen.

Can you believe that you still have to wash your hands instead of simple waving your hands over the screen? Unbelievable.

PenTile screen.

wait wait wait...that was another legitimate one. I'm really bad at this XD

Um..can't make waffles.

Was that already said?

Can't run a scan of stupid people who think having less MP's or a pentile screen makes it inferior that prohibits them from buying it when they finally realize they were wrong about said things.

kinda funny that something as realistic as having gorilla glass.. is being compared to making waffles.

noone has this phone yet.. noone has any of the other new phones yet or any forcible reason to buy one or the other.. I feel like people are being fanboyish about this phone in the way they defend it though.

Looks like it can't run a scan for d-bags either. So there's that.

Did I say the phone was inferior? Did I even say I wouldn't be buying it? I was simply enumerating actual (read: non tongue in cheek) features people want that the phone doesn't have and I get attacked because I didn't say something like "it doesn't perform fellatio on unicorns".

The Galaxy Nexus' hardware predecessor, the Galaxy S II, actually came with all the things I mentioned (even the Gorilla Glass). I'm simply pointing out that it's odd that the Nexus is such a departure from the direction in which the Galaxy line (of which the Nexus is a part) was headed.

Despite that, make no mistake, I will be buying this device. Nothing on my list is prohibiting me from that.

-Can't find the interest in playing the 'numbers game' that other Android phones play, preferring to focus on quality and polish.

-Can't stop itself from getting updates before the rest of those phones.

-Can't stop itself from being the best Android phone for the foreseeable future.

-Can't teach people that hardware is nothing if the software sucks.

Who said I was talking to you directly, Mike? Aside from the fact that all you did was point out the same things that have been beaten to death, there wasn't anything wrong with your posts.

I'm flattered you got so defensive, though. Maybe next time you should consider the origin of the thread and how that might weight into why I'd say something I've already said (see: Too Much Negativity).
