bricked it?

tried to install a recovery and now it just boots into the lg recovery and it says

finding update package...
E:can't find command file CACHE:recovery/command

Any idea what went wrong?

sorry if this is in the wrong forum, new to this site. Had a root hero for over a year and that thing was really easy to root...
