So i have had this Nexus 7 from my uncle a few years back and worked fine for about 8 months, but in 2016 the tablet somehow got bricked. I have finally got round to trying to fix it and have been using the "nakasi" Images from the Google API's For Android website :https://developers.google.com/android/images#nakasi

Anyway I seem to always hit a problem with installing it (Using the minimal adb fastboot portable) as follows

target didn't report max-download-size
archive does not contain 'boot.sig'
archive does not contain 'dtbo.img'
archive does not contain 'dt.img'

Would anyone be able to help?

I moved this from the Lollipop forum to the 2012 Nexus 7 Rooting/ROMs forum for more specific traffic.

Crikey! You're lucky to have a 2012 that has lasted this long. I had one of those, it bricked 18 months ago and ended up on eBay for spares. I wish you luck and hope you are able to breathe life back into it.
