Bricked Nexus any help appreciated

Ok so I tried to flash one of the official AOKP nightlies and something went wrong during the process and it just hung on the recovery mode screen doing nothing. After some time I had no choice but to pull the battery as nothing else was possible. Now the phone won't boot at all. no recovery mode no getting into the boot loader nothing. So how bad have I screwed myself?

You did a battery pull and tried going to the bootloader manually, and nothing happened?

Right...the phone won't turn on at all. No combinations of buttons will take me to bootloader, download, nothing. It's very worrying lol

Try plugging it into your computer with the battery out. Wait a little bit, then put the battery in. See what happens.

I had this issue a while back when my son ripped my gnex off the table while charging. This thread helped me out.

Well, I don't really help out a lot... but had this happen to me four times... every time because I left the cord dangling from the phone on my son's little dresser. I don't know why I keep putting it there, lol?

The first three times it just needed a battery pull to get it to turn back on, though the very first time it damaged the NFC antenna in the battery.

The last time (July 4th, right before the fireworks), I thought he killed it. Browsed a few forums and found that. Figured it was my duty to share, because like the OP, it scared the ish out of me when it happened.
