Bricked S3- unsure how to move forward.

I was following this guide- [GUIDE] Root for Jelly Bean OTA ***UPDATED 1/29*** - xda-developers when I got all the items downloaded, and my device put into odin mode, I flashed the correct .md5 thing to the phone and when it shut off it never came back on, I waited 30 minutes, unplugged it and tried to manually turn the phone on with no luck, after pulling out the battery and trying again and plugging the device in my laptop makes the sound like a device was connected but then quickly makes 3 short beeps and the phone will not turn on. I cannot get it on at all or I would be able to follow one of the many guides I've seen on how to go back to stock or fix it, but a bricked S3 I can't seem to find help with... I'm not even 100% sure what happened, because I followed the instructions correctly and only got to step 2 lol Any help would be great, I remember once I bricked my thunderbolt, and had to adb to connect it or something but I can't figure that out.

If it doesn't turn on it all its toast man. Happened to me a few months ago. Get ahold of verizon and get a replacement. Mine came next day. I remember thinking there's gotta be a way to fix this! I went into panic mode. But ya pretty sure it's toast my friend.

Bah, I went to my local verizon and said "Idk what happened, the phone just shut off and wont turn back on", and they are shipping me a replacement through the warranty center overnight. I won't be attempting to root the next one.. lol Thanks man, I thought all was lost and that verizon wouldn't help me.

Sorry to hear about that - I rooted back when my phone was on ICS and didn't have any problems. Then I flashed the Jelly Bean stock rooted image, also without issue. Too bad you didn't get any other responses - the folks here are usually pretty good about helping someone.
Did you post your problem in that XDA thread? Those guys are usually pretty on top of things.

No I didn't post there but I did read it. Hey tho, I've gotten a lot of help from this site and others and if its broken when it won't turn on, its broken. lol I was trying anything until truth posted, then I went straight to Verizon so, that helped.
