Brightness and Volume slider

I've just acquired a G2. Apparently the Verizon version does not have these sliders on the notification pull down. I really like this feature though. Is there a way to put these on the Verizon G2.

Do you need them in the notification shade? If not, try Slider Widget.

There might be a limitation for that. I use Power Toggles, which is pretty powerful, but even that only allows for a button in the toggle bar that you place in the notification panel, which then brings up a slider.

slide down from the top of the screen and you will see the quick lings for sound, bluetooth, wifi, screen, etc. Taping on the brightness button toggles between max/min and whatever percentage you have manually chosen; in my case, 30%.
