Brightness issue

I recently applied the current update and have noticed a problem with screen brightness. It dims slightly and returns to full brightness a few moments later. Has anyone else found this to be true?

Are you sure you're not moving your hand around the light sensor?

The small dot near the large camera dot on the top front.

I don't think I am, but I will monitor my movements and see if that makes a difference. I'll post back afterwards with what happens.

Turn off auto brightness and see if it's still doing it.

Okay, I'll see what happens, although I suspect right away it was the cause of my problem. The brightness leaped out at me as soon as I turned off "Adaptive" brightness.

I would find using it with auto brightness off to be very irritating And the ability to control the bias setting while still in auto is the ONLY change in 5.0 that I like so far.
