Anyone notice even when the adjust brightness is grayed out ie not check sometime th brightness still adjust?

Auto brightness at it's best. I think it's a bug, but nothing much.

I think it is much cause I left my house at 1230 fully charge and now my phone when on the password screen its alread y saying connct your charger
