Hi
When playing movies in gallery saddenly brightness of the screen is darkened. Even when brightness is set to 100%. Any idea?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock video player app, or some 3rd party app? For example, MX Player can control the brightness separately from the system--so even if the system's brightness is set to 100%, MX Player can still drop it to a dimmer setting (but you can still adjust it yourself within the app).

The G3 will auto dim the brightness due to the temperature rising, to stop this you would need to go in to the hidden settings and turn off a couple things, you don't have to be rooted to do this. Search how to speed up the G3 and you will find out how to enter the hidden settings and turn off both the features in there.

Yes, this is my guess - MX Players brightness will override the phone's main brightness settings. Commonly MX and VLC allow you to adjust brightness simply by sliding your finger up the side of the screen. It only ever becomes a problem for me when I'm doing dual window with MX Player and it's brightness settings are kept and the on-screen brightness slider doesn't work well while taking up half the screen.
