Broken Screen

All of a sudden yesterday the top of my phone screen stopped working. I don't think I did anything to damage it, definitely didn't let it get wet or anything like that. The screen looks to be in excellent condition, but the top of the screen doesn't work at all.

I did everything I could from my point of view, I'm certain something's wrong inside the phone.

Unfortunately I have had the phone now for two months. Is there anything I can do besides sending the phone back to HTC for three weeks or paying Sprint to repair it (and probably void the warranty)? Is there any hope for getting the phone replaced? I don't pay insurance, so that's part of my problem.

Help please! :'(

since you don't have insurance there is no way you can get it fixed for free. your gonna have to put in money no matter what. but best guess is go to a third party place to fix it. where i live i have a doctor fix it or something like that and they fix/unlocks phones way below the price you would pay at sprint

Would having it fixed by a 3rd party void the warranty?

Take it back to Sprint, this is a warranty issue if you didn't damage it, no insurance needed. They will send you a new one.

Just replace the screen your self it isnt that difficult I have done 3 of them so far.

I would get a warranty replacement from Sprint.

Warranty replacement is free, that digitizer is 60 bucks.
