Seems like its been doing it thus past week. Once I hit home and go to the browser whatever page Im on freezes and can't do nothing. Today it froze for about 1 min till I hit the home button then lag for less than 15 secs

Using the stock browser? I find it too slow in general. Consider using Dolphin or Opera. I use Dolphin Mini, which is fast, compact (the application download is <1 GB), and reliable. I use Dolphin HD on my tablets, but I think the added features of HD are somewhat lost on the small size of a smartphone.

If you still prefer the stock, try clearing the cache under Settings (the main Android Settings menu, not the browser settings). You could also try force closing it.

Oops, sorry, I'm an idiot. I meant the app is <1MB download.

The stock browser isn't quick to respond by any means. Takes it a few seconds to just process a link or URL being entered. I've found Opera to be more intuitive, but not much quicker. Never tried Dolphin. I'm just waiting for Chrome to be made available. Until then, I'll deal with the slight delays.

On a similar note, I did have an issue with the browser last week. Clicked a 'tiny' URL on Twitter, and the page just would not open and froze the browser up. I tried closing and re-opening the browser, but it wouldn't open anything else. Turns out the 'frozen' page was still open in another window, so I had to go manually close it down. The stock browser impressed again!

Dolphin is really quite good, and very stable. I bet you'd like it--give it a try! But I agree, I'm waiting for ICS to come so I can use Chrome on my phone and tablets.

Sorry, not sure what you're asking. What do you mean by plain bookmark?

I don't think so. I avoid bells and whistles like that, because they tend to slow things down.
