Hi,

I could use some help.

I tried the Boat browser which was recommended to me and loved it for the first few days. Unfortunately, now it freezes so often that it has become essentially unusable. If anyone knows why this might be happening and how to resolve it, I would appreciate hearing from you.

If there is no solution, then I will have to find a different browser to use. At the moment, I am using Chrome. It works OK, but I am really missing all the features that Boat had.

What do you consider to be the best browser for Nexus 7?

Thanks in advance for the help.

imo, Chrome is the best browser.

are you updated to 4.2? it could be compatibility issue. the browser might be soon updated to fix it, if that is the problem.

or you could just try to clear cache/data and try again. remember you will lose all customization in the browser.

I'm having trouble with Firefox, boat, and dolphin 8.5.1 since the update. Before the update I was doing just fine with dolphin only.

Yeah, I got the ota update yesterday. While there is an additional, minor issue with Boat as a result of the update, the major freezing issue started before that, so that is not the reason.

I had deleted the cache before, but took your advice and cleared all data from the app. We will see if that works. Thank you for responding.

I will hold off on trying others for the moment then. No point if they all have yet to be patched to work with 4.2. Thanks for the help.
