Browser ID?

I am a new convert to Droid X from Blackberry. So far I am loving it. I can't figure out one thing though. How do I change the browser ID so it loads the normal version of web pages, not mobile versions when available?

In the stock browser you have to enter about:debug in the URL (it won't appear to do anything) and then you can see the user agent settings in Settings. It won't retain this setting from session to session though. You might want to try another browser if you need it to retain the setting or don't want to deal with the about:debug URL each time.

I guess that only works for the Droid X. I have the Nexus one and tried that. No joy.

That works great, thanks. Now only if it would keep the setting between sessions...

That's one reason why I keep Dolphin HD around even though I prefer the stock browser.
