hi new here ! i have had my fascinate about three weeks now and i love it,but i have noticed a problem when browsing the web such as forums, when i hit the back button it goes back to the top of the page not where i left off......is there a setting for this or is it normal?? thanks for your help

I didn't use the stock browser long so I'm not certain, but I think this is just a function of some browsers. Dolphin HD (which is based on the stock Android browser) did it and it would drive me INSANE especially on sites like reddit where there aren't page numbers to separate the links. I'd have to scroll back down a looooong way. Maybe somebody smart will pipe in with a setting change.

If you want, you can try the xScope browser. The trial has a watermark, it's $3 if you end up liking it. It has instant back/fwd navigation to where you were.

I use the stock browser and haven't noticed this. I just tested it out and when I hit back it returns to the exact spot on the page I was at. That said I have seen some pages reload on my and jump me back to the top of the screen. This was one of my main annoyances with the default browser. I eventually came back to the default browser because all of the browsers on the phone have their warts and I liked the default one the most.

I believe it has to do with the actual page coding, or something along those lines. I have noticed it in regular browsers, (hence i use Ctrl click when opening links) that sometimes they bring you back to the page you were viewing and sometimes you get the top of the page. Just gotta roll with the punches i think. Sorry
