Browser won't load selected search results

Searched but didn't see anything similar. Here's the situation.

Using the default ICS browser, loaded Google search page, typed in "Android Central", website shows in the search results, clicked the link, and voila......nothing happens. The screen just sits there on the search page. The search results disappear, what I typed still shows in the search box, but the Android Central site (or anything else I search for and select) never loads.

This is isolated to the stock ICS broswer as I loaded Chrome and it seems to work fine.

Any ideas?

Same thing for me. I gave up and switched to Chrome. Really like this phone, but it is rather buggy.

Touch the little arrow to the right of the result that you want instead of touching the result words.

This. Touch the arrow and the result is moved into the search box then touch the search button. That said i am using dolphin browser as i prefer the interface.

I thought I had done something wrong a few times and after reading this post realized I am experiencing the same. As someone mentioned, you can hit the arrow beside the choice instead and it loads it into the search bar.

Thanks! That did the trick. I'm coming from a Droid X where I could just click the results and it would load.

As I mentioned I loaded up Chrome and it works the same way the default browser on my X did. I like Chrome but can't seem to find a way to change the default home screen.
