browsing experience worse in 3.1

before update: Dolphin HD was the best thing running
after update: stock browser is a beast.

using Thumb Keyboard eliminates lag... didn't get it to kill the lag, I got it because the layout just makes sense (the lag kill was a bonus!)

Prefer the stock browser over all. Until 3.1. I get lock ups and blank screens quite often. Facebook is a nightmare. But I blame most of it on facebook itself. The inability to view and reply to photo omments without changing my view. And the laggy text input.

This thread shows I am not the only one. I find that I experience different issues than a friend and his xoom. Both are release date buys.

Maybe not opening 83 tabs at the same time would help. Seriously, the browser is less laggy after the update here, but then I rarely open more than 3 or 4 tabs simultaneously.

i find it absolutely hilarious that you keep posting that stupid video with 140 views of some 15 year old fliping his xoom around while playing doom (or duke nukem) whatever it is. What you dont seem to understand is that past 30fps you arent going to notice THAT much of a difference. so that fact that it falls from 60 to 30fps is moot. that will in NO WAY affect any application. Now, is that an issue that there is an fps drop, of course. but in no way would that hinder any performance. 30fps is still DAMN good imo.

Except for some very graphically heavy apps (games), all four rotations give smooth, fluid scrolling, and certainly aren't 'useless'. If you want to be critical, then be critical without stupid exaggerations that only serve to piss people off.

Really? Internet forums get you pissed? Lol. I can recommend a very good psychiatrist tha deals with "internet rage" I'm very serious. This condition affects a lot of people and is detrimental to your mental and physical well being. Ssri's are first line treatment

clearly your education system was lacking which has prevented you from developing reading comprehension skills. no where did i EVER say it was no concern. i said that you would barely notice a difference from a 60-30fps drop. the ONLY place you will notice this difference is in high end video games and some video playback which most of these are done in STANDARD landscape format. browsing, typing, etc wont see any difference i have tested it numerous times... want a youtube video?

just because you put numbers behind it doesnt make a difference. 30fps is MORE THEN ACCEPTABLE for anything you do on the tablet, and like I said, it wont hinder any real world performance and most users will never even notice.

I find it annoying not being able to see the tabs up top but it's not that big of a deal. After the 3.1 I found the stock browser to be just a bit faster and over all better. I think the people that are having lag issues are isolated incidences. Hopefully they are.
