Ok , I'm sure you can't wait to get back :)

Started happening to me last month. Had my Fold 3 since launch day. I peeled the old protector off and installed the white stone premium gen film one and it was super easy and I installed it perfectly no bubbles. Looks just as good as new.

Bubbles started at the crease. Should I contact Samsung to replace? My ZF3 is out of warranty.

Yup, if you want to keep it I would as well.

Contacted samsung rep and following is the option given to me.

In this case we have two options available one is we can repair ($500 to $600) and fixed it and the charges will be apply as the device is out of warranty and second best option is you can trade in this device and can get the latest device for discounted price.

Is there a recommended screen protector for the inner screen that I can replace myself?

Not good options, try the White Stone Dome screen protector, watch some YouTube videos

So are they saying the display is bad or just the screen protector?

Some UBreakIFix places will change the protector for $20-$30 depending on the store. I say some locations because it seems there are locations that will say they can't replace it while others are more than willing to do it.

Once I had mine replaced it was back to feeling like new with a fresh Samsung OEM protector installed.

At this point I would take The screen protector off and see if the screen still works as it should, if it does replace it with a new screen protector has listed above

Samsung rep didn't even check the phone. He just said $500 to $600 when I told him it might be screen protector issue. I will check with ubreakifix local store.

Let us know what happens. I'm curious and hopeful you get it fixed at UBreakIFix.

Considering I only had to be without my precious for about 5 minutes while they applied a new protector, it was worth it just to avoid the hassle of dealing with Samsung

Here is the update. Called every ubreakifix in my area and everyone redirected me to another. Finally, the last one asked me call Samsung Experience store. Went to Samsung Experience store today and they replaced the screen protector for $20. Looks good again.

This is what I would do.

Edit: Just read you had the protector replaced at a Samsung store for $20, glad it worked out for you :D I can't believe Sammy wanted to charge you 500 to 600 bucks for the same thing.. plus the hassle and risk of sending it in. What a scam

I like and prefer Samsung Experience Store but not many around or close by , did have my S10+ fixed by them under warranty

Just took my Fold in to my local Ubreakifix. They have 2 options, u can go through Sammy for free (I'm in warranty until March) or pay $40 on my own. The catch for Sammy is they have to keep the phone 72 hours even though the job takes 5 minutes. They REALLY tried to pressure me to just pay and have it done 5 mins in and out. Anyone else have this experience at Ubreakifix or was this location trying to make a few bucks off me. I have my Note 20 ultra as a backup so I had no issue leaving it there.
