Buds--no thanks!

Horrible user experience, from just holding onto the ultra slippery case, to opening it, to trying to get the things out...to figuring out what all the little pieces in the box are, finding ANY user guides, and so on, and so on.

I say this having had the Jabra product for a few months. The Buds just plain suck.

The Buds have only two redeeming qualities: USB-C port, and wireless charging off the back of the S10. For the benefits the Jabra units bring to the table, I'll settle for micro-USB charging.

Aha--the Jabra also sound a tad better.

Well sorry you don't like them. But what will make them better than your jabra for me is their free. I had the icon x. Worked great. Case wasn't all that slippery. Their not hard to use.

These buds are free. Nothing really to complain about really for me.

They ARE slippery but honestly didn't need any user guide beyond the Quick Start sheet. turn on your bt. open the box. look at your screen. pretty self explanatory from there and there are some simple instructions right in the app that opens. the sound isn't The Best really not bad at all. the fit is great and they stay put once in. the prismatic pad is a nice touch.
but everything is slippery.

Oh, I got them working OK. But regularly carrying them around and taking them out of my pocket and out of the case when a call comes in--they suck at enabling that. There's no taking them out with your fingers, really--you have to dump them out.

The free Buds did put me off the pre order, even if they were free! Went along to the Samsung shop anyway to have look at the s10 plus, coming from the s8 plus, so worth a look. Talked to the assistance, and she said no Buds here. We are giving away Galaxy watch 46mm and one year broken screen insurance (only one screen in one year, cannot drop it as many times as you want). Took the deal and bought a S10 plus anyway. Some countries must be different free gifts

Post those free buds on the marketplace - I'm sure someone will want them if you think they suck.

I'm glad I'm getting the certificate, that gives me choices. I'm thinking about applying mine to this.

I have no problems getting out with fingers. As far as usage I only plan to use when outside, exercising, etc, so perfect for my needs.

You won't be able to use your credit but you should check out the Sony WH1000XM3. They use Sony's proprietary LDAC Bluetooth protocol which is supported by Android 8 and above. In addition to great sound their adaptive noise cancelling is amazing.

I was never excited about the free ear buds. I'm never excited about "free" anything, because most of the time it's janky...which is why it's free.

I have no problems getting out with fingers. As far as usage I only plan to use when outside, exercising, etc, so perfect for my needs.

That's basically what I'll be using them for also.
