Buds+ or other tws

Has anyone used the Airpods pro and the new galaxy buds? I have the Airpods pro and they are great, love the way they fit in my ear and sound great. However, using them with my Note, I lose all of the touch controls so I've considered the new Samsung set. Sound quality is more important than the touch controls and I would prefer to keep using my Airpods if it's a downgrade in sound. Do they sound as good as the Airpods or better?

I've been debating between truly wireless buds for a while. I'm debating between the Jabra 75t, Buds+, and Sony XM3's.

I haven't tried the Sony XM3 and I only got the Buds+ yesterday, I have had the Jabra 75t for a while and love them but can't really give a proper comparison opinion since I only got the buds yesterday.
Jabra 75t is definitely a good bit louder and heavier bass but the ambient hear through is superior on the Buds+
Personally I like the touch controls on the Buds better than the buttons on the Jabras.
I'll probably be trying out a pair of Aukey T18NC next as they are same price range or slightly cheaper but have ANC

I've just ordered the buds+, the cashback offer from samsung uk made the deal sweeter!

Ugh, I have only had the original buds for a week but I pre-ordered the buds+ in black. I had a hard time passing up the 30% discount I was getting, plus I can probably recoup what I paid for the original buds.

It will be interesting to see what you think of the difference.
The fact that you only have had the *old* version for a week will probably give you a fairly clear view of the difference, I mean you will still have first impression in mind when you get the Buds+

After having 4 Samsung headphones die within 3 months, I am not willing to give them another chance.

I have thought about the Bose earbuds, but I am fine with my soundpeats for now.

Well that's a fairly bad record alright :-(

Which headphones and where did you buy them?

Two were Level U Pros. One was from Amazon and the other one was from QVC, I think.

Then I got the iconx from AT&T and the last pair was the warranty replacement for them.

Every single one has had one earbud gradually lower in volume until it is barely audible.

Had that issue with the IconX and they just needed cleaning with a q-tip. I do it about once every couple of months and they're good.

I was looking at the 75t also.

You won't regret the 75t but maybe look at the 75t active version as well now that they're out.
Having had the 75t for some time and Buds+ for a couple of days now I find it impossible to pick one over the other, it's like they serve two different purposes but both really really good.
Obviously the 75t have better IP rating so they will probably be my outdoors choice.

Re: Buds+

So true! I hate blocking ambient noise, makes for absolutely stupidity on day to day use. I had the JBL wearble for this reason keep ears clear to hear or interact while enjoying music etc.

The Buds+ last forever battery wise and the ambient is a great feature, they also sit effortlessly in your ear.

I have the black Galaxy Buds+ and they are a nice upgrade to the original buds. The ambient sound feature is my favorite upgrade due to fact I hear one sided hearing.

I've owned the regular Galaxy buds and the 65t. Have you owned any of them? If so, do you notice a difference between the older/newer versions?

I haven't tried the original Buds but I had the Jabra 65t before the 75t and the 75t is a big upgrade in my opinion, I didn't find the fit of the 65t great for me so that has obviously a lot to do with my opinion.

Thanks for the input! It actually helps me make up my mind. Volume and bass is important, and I don't care anything about the ambient pass through. That pushed the Buds+ to the bottom of the list for me.

Yup, in all reviews (and including personal experience), Jabra's always gets better reviews in terms of volume level and bassy audio than Samsung's.

See I'm the exact opposite. I want 0 ambient noise coming in when I wear headphones.

Honestly the cloud blue color is the main reason I was considering the Buds+. They're just so nice. Haha!
