BUG: Phone not always matching Phone number with Name

Hi,

On Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4.0.1. For numbers I know are in my Contacts (and I've checked in case contacts were getting deleted) the phone more often than not fails to match a phone number with a contact, for example when looking at the call log / history.

I had a similar problem, turns out that there were 2 different issues at play. Firstly I had some duplicate phone numbers in my contact list and the phone couldn't decide which contact name to use and secondly because my country wasn't in my list of locales, I downloaded morelocale 2 and set it to Australia and it has fixed my issues .

Thanks, Don't think duplicated number in my case, will try the app (MoreLocale 2 - Android app on AppBrain).

I think now in some cases it knows the contact but is not displaying the contacts picture.
