Except that it does not fix new bugs in 4.2. Poor quality control from asus

That's cool. It's nice to see that Asus will continue to support this device, even though it's clearly being retired to clear the way for the MeMO pads. When my old Acer A500 was updated to ICS, it was fraught with bugs, but we never heard a peep from Acer.
By the way, I saw a nice red TF300 that I think was 32 GB at the local Best Buy for $250. Definitely on fire sale now.

You're a good person/marketer.
Ask Best Buy or other places for 10% commission!

Heh heh. I'm always looking for a bargain. If I didn't have more self-control, I'd probably own 20 devices just because they were on sale. I figure that if I can't buy it, then maybe someone else can benefit from the deal!
I've had a couple of hiccups here and there forcing a hard reboot, but I haven't had anything serious going on. I guess I'm a bit lucky.
Can we unlock our bootloaders on 4.2.1? I'm ready to take the leap of faith...

I just don't want to unlock mine because I want to see these cool Official Updates.
That, and I have a 2 year warranty.

Every time I download the unlocker tool I get a .rar file... Idk what to do with it :b

Unzip it and see if there's an .apk in there.

Follow up question: Does it factory reset after you unlock it?

Surprisingly, no. But you do have to register your device with ASUS first.

Well, I figured that one, because I remember that it wouldn't let me even try unless I was connected to the internet.
But I'm still locked because they seem to have a very strict guideline on unlocking your tablet.
