Build date

I've seen some references to build dates. How do you determine it? Which number is appropriate?

The label inside looks something like:

Right under the model number, where you gave ##-##. That's the manufacturing date, mine is 11-11. On another note from what I've seen all the newer builds seem to have 6 bar codes instead of the 7 on the original run.
