Built in screen protector?

Less than a month with the phone and I've discovered a small air bubble that has appeared. It's 1.5 inches down from the top and .5 inches from the left side. I guess I'll swing by the Verizon store and see what they say. I was really happy about having one preinstalled so that I wouldn't have to deal with installing one. Oh well...

it's not like it's an amazing protector or anything.

I'm actually really liking this factory-installed protector. I just noticed a scratch on mine; what's the fastest/best contact for Samsung (or possibly Verizon?) to get it replaced with the same one? I'm totally fine with going somewhere and paying money for them to install it, as long as it's the same as what came with the phone.

It's so amazing!
Yeah there's no way I could do the job as well as the preinstalled one. Not real smudgy either. I stopped installing them a few years ago and haven't had a scratch since. When this one gets ratty I'm going naked. I'm guessing the fingerprint sensor will respond better also.

it's just a temporary screen protector, I don't think it is supposed to last very long

I ordered the Unique Me screen protector from Amazon and I'm very satisfied with it. It took about a week for the edges fully conform with the curved edges but it's perfect now. It comes with 3 protectors and a money back guarantee.

I love the pre-installed screen protector. The installation is perfect as I can barely tell it is there.
Also, under my ArmadilloTek Vanguard case the screen protector is in perfect condition without a scratch, bubble, or peeling edge.
Buying a new screen protector would involve removing this perfectly good protector and hoping that the new one can be installed as well and hoping it performs as well.
No thanks, I'm fine.

I purchased a WSD protector immediately after pre-ordering my phone, with plans to take the factory installed off and put on the WSD. But then the phone arrived, and I decided to leave the factory installed on until it got ratty or peeled and needed to be replaced. Thankfully - because I did have to exchange my first Note 10+ for another (SPen was waking up the phone every 5 seconds while IN the phone - making my phone a strobe light).

I've still not installed my WSD yet and I only have one case (so far - the Spigen Neo Hybrid), so I'm not pulling it off and on, which might start peeling the sides.

I love the look and feel of the WSD and my Note 8 was pristine when I removed it prior to sending it in for trade in. So, for now, the factory installed is fine - when it gets too many micro scratches for my liking, I'll rip it off and install the WSD.

Re: scratches? Built in screen protector?

Yeah, my policy is to only carry the phone in my otherwise-empty front pants pocket, facing inward. But I realize that may not always be practical.

I have scratched 2 different phones doing this. I have never figured out how.

So far, I've only had the preinstalled screen protector installed. I think it works good at keeping smudges off of the screen. I was curious what the S pen felt like on the glass screen vs the plastic film screen protector?

To be honest, I prefer the SPen with a screen protector. It's almost too slick without one. I feel like the protector gives just enough drag that I can write a little neater. Of course, that's just my opinion. I'm sure others disagree. One negative though is if you use your SPen often and with enough pressure, you'll get little indentions and lines in the screen protector from the pen.

I still got the screen protector that came with the Note but I got backup screen protectors from Spigen once the original wears down.

The factory installed screen protector is still going strong on my Note 10+. Although I do have a tempered glass Olixar screen protector waiting in the wings once the original screen protector wears out.

I took the preinstalled off about a week ago because I noticed a big rough spot on it. Currently not using one. I've got a couple different skins coming today and Monday that include screen protectors. I'll look at them. May put one back on.

Here's looking forward to your feedback on the replacement screen protectors...
