Which one do you like best? Which one runs the best? Which one is stockier(?)?

What I am trying to find out is which of these you guys are using and why.

I've tried both, keep switching between the two lol. I've used Bumblebee a lot more and have seemed to get better battery life out of it, but I'm trying Harmonia right now. Harmonia is by far the "stockier" of the two. Bumblebee comes with a lot more features (wireless tether, terminal emulator, etc.) which I like a lot, but Harmonia is a lot more customizable, plus LeslieAnn has a few flashable elements included in her post that you can use with her rom. Wireless tether seemed to work better on Harmonia than on Bumblebee, not sure why though. Harmonia is also a lot smoother in my experiences, but the last time I flashed this rom, the battery life was A-trocious. Overall, both are very good roms, but I like Harmonia more.

Hope this helps. :)

I've tried both of them and was really impressed. Bumblebee is intriguing because a gingerbread rom is in its future.

Apples and Oranges my friend, apples and oranges. By that I mean your talking about two different creatures here. LesliAnns (Harmonia) is built around keeping everything clean and devoid of bloatware and branding it basically give you a blank canvas on which you build your own look and feel its what she feels the phone should have been like right out the box. Bumblebee is all about the speed and getting the most of your phone hardware. So the answer to your question depends on what you want out of your phone.

Well I have been having camera and overheating issues with bumblebee, both causing restarts, and just recently my data connection went away and will not come back. So I'm going to have to say Harmonia for now, but I haven't flashed that since 1.2.

You are probably overclocking too high. Each kernel should have its own upper limit. You probably can't overclock the same amount across all of the kernels.

Bumblebee had the advantage for the longest time in my opinion because of the reboot menu and the mdalvik mod. Now that Harmonia has both, I really can't tell the difference. Whenever one of the two gets an update, I flash that until the next one gets updated.

Performance mods were so much more important on the intercept because it was a piece of junk. The Optimus is already a smooth phone with decent hardware, so the mods aren't as easy to notice. I just love having a reason to flash something.

In many ways they are both extremely similar, we have even done many similar things to them. It's the finer things that make the difference.

I prefer harmonia, but I LIKE Bumblebee. If Harmonia didn't exist, I would be using it. If you want a kick butt rom, that is it. Obijohn has my total respect for what he has done. I prefer Harmonia because it's a stable blank canvas to do with what I please. It's the phone Virgin should have shipped. Then if people wanted, they could have added Bumblebee or CM7 for something above and beyond. I see Harmonia as the "generic rom" and Bumblebee and CM7 as specialist roms.

By the way Barfmog, Harmonia had Mvdalvik before Bumblebee. It was the first 2.2 OV rom to have it.
It goes back and forth, one rom gets something then the rest do.

Oh, as for CM7, it;s nice, but a bit overkill and buggy. Reborn, I love the looks, and it has some nice features, but it missing mvdalvik is a serious Achilles heal, but it is a nice rom. A good successor to Rodimus. There are other roms as well and all have their pros and cons, but these are the big 4.

Harmonia. After 48 hours I usually have between 20-30% battery left, with wifi on continuously and moderate use. I love the smoothness of Harmonia.

I was very happy with Harmonia 1.2 but went to Bumblebee to try it out. My phone was not stable with the default kernal overclocked to 768 but once I reigned that back to 729 I've been pleased. I have since made an ext2 partition and have been using Link2SD. One thing I'm not certain of is if I flash Harmonia 1.3 will it support the ext2 partition and will I be able to continue using Link2SD as I have been with Bumblebee 2.4?

That was with no overclocking at all on the bumblebee kernel, and it still doesn't explain the camera issue.

Did you do a full wipe before flashing the rom? Or did you backup and install system apps with titanium?

Yes to the full wipe, did it manually and with the wiper.zip in the thread since it was my first time installing Bumblebee. No to installing system apps with titanium. I just use titanium for user apps, but even with a fresh wipe and a restore to a rooted/recovery stock backup, I'm still having issues.

Idk, I just switched to bumblebee from aospCM7. While I really like bb, the performance of cm7 I miss greatly. I had absolutely no lag on crusade of destiny on cm7 with oc ar 806. With bb, it runs but is a little too laggy for my taste. I just wish someone would make a GOOD 2.3 rom.

I've been trying Bumblebee and Harmonia back and forth the past week.

And although I really liked Bumblebee, for whatever reason, I could NOT get Google Music Beta to stream on it or to work properly. That was a deal breaker for me. Google Music Beta has basically replaced my old iPod classic and keeps me from carrying a second device.

It runs without issue on Harmonia. No idea why BB has the problem, but Harmonia wins for me because of this.

Bumblebee also had a couple incidents where it couldn't get the GPS to lock on with any degree of accuracy. A reboot fixed it though. May have been a two-off thing, but Harmonia never gave me any trouble in this area either.

In all honesty though, performance-wise both are quick and snappy. I really don't notice any real difference. I have installed No-Frills CPU Control on Harmonia, so my overclocking options are exactly the same on Harmonia as I had on Bumblebee.

I had the same problem with Google Music Beta. I just uninstalled it, reinstalled and it has worked perfectly since. I am loving bumblebee, mostly because of the low battery use.

On stock I would get 12-16 hours max.

Today, I was at 80% after 12 hours with all of the same apps and widgets.

VERY happy!

Glad you got Google Music working. I must have installed and uninstalled it 5 or 6 times and absolutely could not get it to work.

I'm now running Harmonia 1.6. Really quite comparable to BB in all respects.

I'd prefer Harmonia simply for why it was created. To give us a blank slate. I wanted to create my own android environment on top of whatever "just the basics" was, so I only had on there what I wanted.
