Hello community,
My Galaxy S8 is about 15 months old and lately I noticed some light burn in. The Whatsapp phone icon (the one in the chats on above on the right side) is barely visible in certain situations (for example on a blue background). I also think that the notification bar and the keyboard have a slight burn in issue as well. Now I know all the problems related to burn in so I know not to use the phone with high brightness and not to display static images for a long time. Knowing the potential burn in threat (had it badly on my old S5) I was always careful. When chatting I texted and then immediately turned off the screen and as I said I never displayed static icons or images for a long time but still I got burn in on my phone. It seems that even being careful does not help to prevent the burn in issue. I wanted to ask: do you think that it's normal that burn in occurs after 15 months of usage? It's not very strong but it's still there.
