Buy a TV now or wait for an Android TV?

I'm due for a new TV. My 720p Samsung has held up well since 2006, but the colors are washed out. It's time for a new one. Should I wait for an Android TV or just buy a regular smart TV, then get a set top box later on?

If it were me, I think I'd get the TV I want and not worry about whatever "OS" is on it - the set top box can transfer to any TV, etc.

Get an LG Smart TV with webOS and never mind the set top box. Have it all now.
