Buy the G2 or hold out for something better?

The problem with waiting is that you will always be waiting. When you wait two months, you can ask the same question then... It's a never ending cycle.

Totally agree. The waiting never ends.....wait for the S5 or better yet, the next iteration of the ONE hold on, wait for the G3 no wait again, let's see what the Note 4 has to offer......see how vicious the cycle is? Get what you like when you want period. Forget what's around the corner because something ALWAYS will be.

I say go for the G2 because it's a great phone and there's no good reason not to get it if it does what you want

Yes buy the G2! I did. I could of waited as well. I came from a Samsung GS2.

If you are considering other phones to compare then one month ain't gonna kill ya. CES is next week and it will give you an idea of what phone manufacturers are going to be putting out at least for the first half of 2014. Personally, the only thing I see coming out in the horizon is curved displays and higher resolution screens. Spec wise the G2 should be future proof for at least a year. The only knock I have against the G2 is that it hasn't updated to at least 4.3.
