Buyers Remorse?

LOL, yea. Totally will blow the Fold away in that category!

There is no excuse for the Fold to have a small front screen. The folding Pixel is rumored to have a larger front screen. Most of the big name reviewers on youtube like Greggles and Flossy Carter also agree about the crap front screen too.
Yes there is(battery life). People want all these things to increase like screen size and battery then they're going to complain that the device is too heavy lol. The fold will never be perfect because someone somewhere will look for what it lacks and complain about that. The 3 is the best iteration yet and no real competition in the foldable space.

So far NO remorse from this guy.

Have experienced nothing but good, no lag, photos (few I took) are very good; even the dog photo. And it will be a lot of fun learning the Pro Mode when I get some time.

Screen is fantastic, scrolling is smooth, and that S-pen; cannot believe I ever noted it would never be used. Using that to swipe type is so much better than using fat fingers, and other features (just learned how to do a screen shot on another thread with the pen) make it easier to use the phone.

Only faults so far....
S-pen-hard to feel or see that button so after a full decision is made the phone is here to stay, a silver circle will be placed around the button. At least it will help me to see it easier.

Keyboard really sucked. But easily fixed with Switftkey which I have used for years on all my previous phones. And Googles is no better, in my opinion.

And not a fault, just different, learning the Samsung's UI vs. Pixel 4XL I'm coming from. It will take a little while to learn where everything is hidden; just need some serious time to sit and do it. (The arrival of this phone hit at a time when everything is going crazy, the snow, the sub-zero temps, UPS having misplaced a rather expensive laptop somewhere between Illinois and my house [and people think FedEx is bad] and my old employer asking me to drive 100 miles to connect to a video meeting.)

But so far, my opinion is it is one nice piece of serious hardware. And I really love the squared off corners vs rounded on other models. Almost makes me wonder why I never purchased a NOTE before.

I think buyer's remorse is a normal thing, especially with the costs of phones these days! I think I've had buyer's remorse with most of my phone purchases (likely because of the expense) -- but kept all of them. I'd say give it a bit more time before you decide!

That is so weird. It's incredibly useful. I have never owned a Samsung phone, but since it was part of Android, at least in Android 10, I just assumed they had it.

Don't know why they'd remove it.

Also, this Bixby cr**p is incredibly annoying. Feel like I might return it just because of that.

You do know you can change it to Google Assistant?

I was just asking Mustang if he checked out the cameras yet and not in contrast to the Fold

I get that some people return the phone's because of various issues that can't be worked around via software updates or a tweet of the settings.

However when Buyers Remorse kicks in then reasons are typically found in order to return the phone.

I would say that I didn't decide to resign the phone and then come up with justifications. If anything, it was the other way around.

I wiped the phone last night then initiated a return and boxed it all up. Then this morning!, I woke up and looked at my iphone and was like *eurgh". So took the S22 Ultra out if the box again and started setting it up once more. Lol. I'll probably flip flop back and forth over the next few days ??????

Keep it you won't be sorry.... I know sometimes we need to make a few compromises but that's what any phone...

I was an Android user from the very first HTC device all the way through to the S6 Edge. I loved Android and preferred its infinite customisability. I always hated the Apple locked in approach. Once the Apple watch came out, my usage changed a lot. And I use my Apple watch religiously for all kinds of exercise and bodybuilding metrics. And over the years, I flirted with going back to Android because I really missed being part of that ecosystem. But I was never able to find an Android watch that worked anywhere near as well as the Apple watch in terms of what I needed, even the Samsung ones which were great lacked a lot of the specialist apps that I use.

I figured that now that Samsung has adopted Android wear, this would be a great time to come back to android. And I certainly don't feel excited about putting it back in the box and going back to my iphone. The screen on this device is phenomenal, and I'm really enjoying a lot of being back. But but just not being able to do some of the things that I was really hoping I would be able to do on it, has made me feel a bit meh.

Probably never be happy, lol.

To me, the Apple Watch is the game changer. I have the 11 pro max and now the 22 ultra, have had two phones for a while.

Samsung's hardware is the best, but what Apple has done with their watch is amazing. I like it simply for notifications - specially, having my outlook calendar from work populate on the screen so I know where I am with my day, and what my next meeting is. I want badly to use the S22 Ultra as my daily driver, as it were, but struggling to see how unless I give up on having a smart watch on my wrist.

The other thing I love my watch for is being able to ask Siri to text someone when I am driving. Those are two stupid easy use cases- nothing dramatic

Yeah agreed Apple watch is just amazing for me as well, one of the main reason the latest iPhone is always my main phone irrespective of all the latest Android phones. Apple fitness, the watch apps ecosystem everything just works great for me compared to anything galaxy watch or any other Android wear watch. If it was not for Apple watch I could see myself using the latest Samsung or Google as my main phone. But I do love to use them as my secondary phones and the S22 Ultra is definitely beast of a phone

I guess since the power button is in the wrong place,

I could return mine.

i had kind of the opposite experience...i went from android to iphone 13 pro. i literally bought it and returned it three times(!) over the course of two months. i kept trying to make it work for me. sure there were many things i missed about android (customization and an AOD), but i figured i would eventually adapt to apple's way. and for the most part i did. give it a week or two and you will likely find that you've forgotten about the old way of doing things. they're both good phones. so rest assured that you will be fine with whichever you choose. i've had the S21 for 7 weeks now. it's in the shop. and i see my girlfriend effortlessly using her iphone all day. so i am having a bit of buyer's remorse too.

OMG this is my one "issue" It's even more ergonomically logical for me on the right side of the phone, but I've had it on the left since the Note 8... It's driving me batty ??????
