Buyers Remorse?

Secure folder is definitely what you're looking for in terms of not having work apps separately and Bixby routines can solve your need of personal notifications while you're at work and vice versa. If you need more info on routines there are detailed videos on YouTube.

Thanks to you and others for suggesting Secure Folder function! It's not perfect for me, but definitely more than good enough, so I can keep the phone for now. :)
I wish they still had user profiles, though.

Camera is not flagship grade imo. Grain and smearing in images. My Xperia 1 III takes much cleaner images.

I have the Exynos version.

sent my xperia back after a day. i thought the GUI was awful, especially that tiny viewfinder.

I'm liking my phone, heavier then my note 10 +, but I'll get use to that.

My problem is when trying out ring tones, with my earphones in ,
The ring is still coming loud from phone and can barely hear in earbuds.
Anyone have any idea why or what to do to fix it?

Has anyone had this issue while using ear buds.
Att had no idea about it.
Need to figure out if I need to return it or if others have this problem?

I haven't received my S22U yet, but that's the way it works with my Note 10+ with Android 12. Both the phone and my hearing aids ring at the same time. I've found no way to stop the phone from ringing and only ring my hearing aids when connected via bluetooth. It's not a show-stopper for me, but it would be nice to have the choice, though.

Thanks, I was using my note 10 + Att, and it didn't do that.

So just wondering if anyone else's phone does this?

If you get an answer, I have the same issue with my hearing aids..

That Xperia phone does take phenomenal pictures. I can understand your observations!

Ok, I just returned the S22 Ultra to Samsung. I've decided to go with the S22 Plus instead. (March 15) delivery. I realized once again, just how unimportant the S pen is to me. I always think I'm going to start using it, but nope.

I suspect there is no answer to be had. I've tried everything. I've resigned myself to the fact that it's just the way it is.

I talked to Samsung support today, he said to go into earbuds and check the settings.

With that advice, were you able to get the phone to only ring on your earbuds? Unfortunately, the advice won't work for me because I'm using my hearing aids, not regular earbuds, and my hearing aid app doesn't control where the phone rings.

Not exactly, but now it tells me who's calling before it starts ringing.

I guess everyone else with this phone doesn't have this issue.
Hard to believe. But guess they had there earbuds set and did not happen to them.
My trade in, note 10+ never had this issue.

I don't think Galaxy S phones have ever had that feature. You may be able to use Secure Folder to set up something similar.

There is a setting in phone for hearing aids

Unlocked S22 Ultra on Verizon does the same

I guess something new in s22 ulra this year.
I do have it set now and it tells me who's calling before it starts ringing.
It seems a little better.
I am use to how my note 10+ did, when I had earbuds in and got a call. I could only hear
ringing through earbuds.

That shouldn't cost YOU. I wouldn't let that go. Call them. I how they at least expedite your shipping.

Now that I've figured out some more stuff, I am pretty happy with the S22 and don't exactly have buyers remorse, but I also don't get why people want Samsung phones in the first place. Compared to my old OnePlus 5T, this one lacks so many niceties in the OS (I can't believe the status bar icons are NOT interactive!), and the battery life is decidedly average.

Thinking of dumping it for OnePlus 10 Pro whenever that comes out.

It's just preference, I personally don't see the value in one plus phones at the moment. Their software is getting worse IMO and updates are slower than Samsung, cost is more and you can get Samsung phones at that price almost. At least Pixels have cameras going for them, I honestly don't see One plus excelling in anything. Before they were great for the price they were charging, but once they reached closer to Samsung, iPhone pricing then it's not that much attractive.

At the end pretty much every phone is great nowadays and it'll probably come down to preference and what you like.
