This may sound silly, but it appears Sprint just bumped the GS3 16gb price from 149.99 to 199.99... So, does anyone know where the cheapest place to get the GS3 on an upgrade would be? I was looking at Amazon Mobile but I read that they charge a $90 set up fee that's hidden in the checkout fine print. I haven't looked into Best Buy much but I suppose that's my next research area. I was hoping the GS4 would come out soon and drop the GS3 price but still haven't seen a sprint release date. Thanks in advance

Yeah Best Buy might be your best option. I don't feel Sprint will be dropping the price of the S3 too much. At least not at initial S4 launch.

Just go to bestbuy and tell them u want a price match from amazon on the note 2 like we did and theyll give it to you for 99 we did it took our s3s back in the 14 day window for return and they gave us the note 2s for even exchange since amazon had the note2 for 99 and bestbuy was selling the s3 for 99 we got the way better phone for same price lol they weren't to happy about it but they still did it so id advise it unless you don't like having a better bigger and longer updated phone

And even if you dont want the note 2 bestbuy price matches anything as long as u can show the ad whether it in paper form or online either one they accept

To be fair, Sprint didn't really bump the price. Their price has been $200 for a long time, and they had a brief promo where they dropped it to $149. I suspect it will fall to $99 once S4s are available in reasonable quantity.

Radio Shack's online and in store price is $99 for existing Sprint customers with a new 2 yr contract and $49 if new customer. That's were I got mine 5 weeks ago.

What is the URL of this exclusive site? When I go to the Sprint site, all I can find is $199 with upgrade and 2 yr contract.

Really? I have been a Sprint customer for 12 years and didn't know this.

I would not pay anything over $50 for the S3 right now on a contract, I got mine on eBay as a new opened box item from a reputable dealer for $350 in November 2012, it came in a box still wrapped up with all new accessories in the box and screen protectors and a Samsung car charger. You have to shop around. Wirefly.com eBay.com swappa.com etc. Best buy will price match online retailers to. Personally with the S4 coming next month I would wait. The S3 was $0.96 on black Friday at Sam's Club.

I would buy the S4, one, or Nexus 4.
Though, the S3 is still an powerful beast.

Forget about Best Buy. They no longer will price match phones. Guess this ended on 3/3.

They will still price match other things, but not phones for some reason.

Odd, I just called them to see if they will price match the HTC one and they said yes.

Huh, a friend of mine went to BB to pick up an S3 over the weekend.

Amazon had the AT&T 16gb for $20.00 on contract, so she was going to have BB price match it. But they said the price matching ended on 3/3, so no dice.

The policy may not be set in stone, but could be on a store by store basis?

I guess the moral of the story is to call around first before wasting a drive over to BB. :)
