Buying a thunderbolt?

I Currently have the droid x and when gingerbread came i personally think it detroyed it. I have an upgrade which i have had since june and i have been holding out for a new 4g phone. I like the recent video showing off the bionic but im not a fan of the UI. So Now that thunderbolt has been out for a while and its seems they have fixed the rebooting issues and other gps issues. So would it be worth buying it so late in the game? Its already 5 months old and i love sense UI. Hoping they have worked out some of the bugs, I know about battery problem there giving me 50% off the extended battery. I do plan on rooting it with what i have seen its called bamf?? I'll find someone in my area (tampa) to root it after the 14 day trial.

I am in the same boat but have found a TB off contract for $200 I am contemplating buying. Don't know if you will be as lucky but I would try craigslist. That way you can save your upgrade for later perhaps.

If you can wait for vigor, bionic, possibly Samsung prime with rumored 720p super amoled hd that supposed to be out in October. But that's just me

In my opinion, you should not waste an upgrade on the TB right now... I have the phone and I like it quite a bit but I would save that upgrade for TBs big brother VIGOR (coming out around the holidays). Its going to be a powerhouse....
In the mean time I would recommend you buy a TB from Craigslist for half the price, use it for 3 months and then sell it when the VIGOR comes out.
