Buying a used note 4 as a gift. Opinions?

Hi all,

The note 4 seems like good value right now, bear in mind I'm talking about used sim free devices.

I was wondering if I'd missed any obvious contenders, or even if the note 4 is still a good buy (it's not very old but I thought I'd ask).

How much are we talking about used?

There are plenty of options available to make buying new a great deal. The Moto X Pure (2015) and Nexus 5X start in the mid-to-high $300's. If you are looking for a good phone at a great price then consider the Moto G (2015).

The Note 4 is a phenomenal device. The S Pen makes it so so much more than just a phone

Tbh I'm more fussed about it having a large screen, it ought to replace a small samsung tablet at the same time.

I was just wondering if there was something else I should be looking at too.
