Buying a used phone - Battery life concern

Seems like one of the major things that cause people to want/need a new phone is battery life - when the battery stops charging to full capacity or drains quickly.

What is the point of buying a used phone? Seems the 33% you might save will potentially be negated by the chance that the used phone's battery has 33% less battery life on it.

Depends on what you mean by used I guess ... How used? You can find plenty not-that-used around... I wouldn't worry if the phone was 1 year old... Maybe at most a 10% loss
