Hey All-

I'm looking to purchase a phone online. The seller is willing to meet up with me at the Verizon store to make sure the ESN is clean. Is there anything else I should look for to make sure that the phone is functional? This will be my first Android.

Thanks!

have a verizon tech go through the phone. make sure the sim and sd cards are there obviously. thats about it.

also find out what the warranty date is on the phone in case you have problems down the road.

Make sure that the account the phone is associated with is not delinquent. I got burned once because I only asked if the esn was good but he had defaulted on his bill. I would suggest that they activate it on your line before you pay just to make sure.

Have the esn checked and make sure you activate the phone on your line before the seller leaves.

I bought my phone used- you really don't have a choice. The Verizon folks have to give you another SIm card and attach to your number. So, that is a good thing, as the Verizon folks will need to put your line on phone
then you pay the person
Good luck
